सिलसिला आने-जाने का— हिंदी कविता

हिन्दी दिवस की शुभकामनाएँ, Image Source: Google Image

First Raindrops of the Season: Poem

Raindrops,Picture by ©Chitrangadasharan

The first raindrops of the season,

Do something magical to my senses,

Makes me smile, for no evident reason,

Greens, with the unmistakable fragrances.

Dream Home—Poem

©Chitrangadasharan

A little bit of happiness,

And, a little bit of smile,

Clear blue sky, as the roof,

Green grass, as my bed,

No walls or doors to interfere,

Green, as far as the eyes can see,

That is my Dream home.

Waking up with Sunrise, in full view,

Sleeping with the Moon, in full glory,

The fragrance, only of herbs, shrubs and blooms,

Soft breeze, and birds chattering, all around,

That’s my perfect Dream home.

Stay Connected—Poem

To someone near or far,

After a long time,

A simple phone call,

A simple text message,

For no specific reason,

To know their welfare,

Greetings, and good wishes,

To uplift and reassure,

To exchange pleasantries,

Sometimes, it’s important

To listen, to be there,

To be the healing touch,

The magic of staying connected,

The medicine fails,

The person heals.

Pink Petunia

What happens, when you are greeted by a Pink Petunia in your garden, on a Sunday morning?

Well, a smile and some flow of words to appreciate the magical beauty of Mother Nature.

Pink is the colour,

Pretty blossoms,

Pink is comforting,

Pink is playful,

Pink is romantic,

Pink is feminine,

Pink is compassion,

Pink is innocent,

Pink is pure love,

Pink is calmness,

Pink is nurturing,

Pink is the Petunia.

Red Rose from my garden, Picture by ©Chitrangadasharan

Remind yourself everyday,

Over and above everything else,

Staying cool and confident is important,

Every day brings new possibilities.

Hello February—Poem.

Fragrant, Flowers of February,

Flamboyant and Fluorescent,

Harmonious, and alive,

Bright, aromatic blossoms,

My heart rejuvenated,

The Senses stimulated,

Excited and awakened,

Vibrant and motivated.

The Old Banyan Tree—Poem

Walking past the old Banyan tree,

My eyes are surprised to see,

Who had planted thee,

To give shelter to me,

A thought comes to me,

To plant many more trees,

For my great-grand children to see.

The Colours of Nature—Poem

Vibrant and fragrant,

Bright and jubilant,

Oh! The lovely hues,

Affluence overloaded,

Some flamboyant, others shy,

Some fiery, others delicate,

I bow to the ultimate artist,

Feeling alive, and calm,

My soul in sync, with the creator.
